Acho que é zero a possibilidade de uma intervenção militar, diz Cid Gomes

O senador Cid Gomes (PDT-CE) afirmou hoje que não acredita na possibilidade de uma intervenção militar no Brasil. "Os militares estão conscientes", disse ele no UOL Entrevista, com os colunistas Tales Faria e Carla Araújo.

Eu acho que não tem espaço para isso. [O ano de] 1964 foi uma coisa completamente diferente. Ao meu ver, zero possibilidade de ter intervenção [militar] na política.

Cid ainda criticou os militares que estão dentro do governo Bolsonaro. "O General Heleno [ministro-chefe do GSI (Gabinete de Segurança Institucional) da Presidência da República], você acha que de alguma forma ele representa o pensamento das forças armadas? Ele virou um íntimo da família e está ali para defender a família Bolsonaro e só", alegou Cid.

Cid também avalia que o governo de Jair Bolsonaro (sem partido) está fadado a perder sua popularidade. "A tendência é o governo ser menos popular a cada dia. E o culpado por isso tudo é ele mesmo [Bolsonaro], que está cavando a própria sepultura".
